Our students collected $23,478.77 on September 9. In the words of our Treasurer, "It was a really good Tag Day!!" Thank you to everyone who participated and donated. If you would like to donate now, please click here.
Tag Day (our primary fundraiser for the year) is Saturday, September 9, 2017. All band students (not just marching band) and one parent from each family are expected to participate. It is a full day set aside for students to go door-to-door in the Marshall community, asking for donations. They walk in pairs, and are in a car with at least three other kids, so it's also a chance to meet new friends. Last year, we raised over $30,000 from Tag Day. This money allows us to purchase music and uniforms, replace aging instruments, provide master classes and instrument-specific sectional instruction, and attend competions. Students should wear their black Marshall band tee shirt and bring money for lunch (or a bagged lunch).
Students must turn in this permission slip, preferably in the band room by Friday, and no later than the cafeteria at 8:30 am on Saturday.
Parents, please sign up to drive here.
