Please consider making a contribution in support of our talented students
The George C. Marshall Band Parents Organization is an all-volunteer network of parents whose mission is to foster and promote musical excellence in our band program. As we are a 501(c)(3) organization, your contribution to GCM BPO is tax deductible.
Support for the BPO has allowed us to purchase music and uniforms, replace aging instruments, provide master classes and instrument-specific sectional instruction, and attend competitions.
If you'd like to make a tax-deductible donation to the GCM band programs, please mail a check (payable to GCM Band Parents Organization) to Marshall High School Band, 7731 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043, or donate online here.

Tag Day is a tradition in the Marshall High School community, and the biggest fundraiser for the band. Every September, band students go door-to-door throughout the Marshall school district requesting donations to support the music program. Students leave a “Tag” (an information sheet asking for a mail-in or online donation) on doors if the residents are not home. BPO volunteers coordinate the event, drive the students, and provide breakfast and an ice cream social at the end of the day.
There are two components to our Spring Fundraiser. Students individually sell tickets for a drawing with fabulous prizes. They also play music in small groups in front of local businesses on Blitz Day, accepting donations and selling raffle tickets to passersby. BPO volunteers organize the raffle and provide chaperones on Blitz Day.
