Instructions for adding this calendar to your device(s):
1. In any browser (e.g., Google, Safari, Chrome), login to your personal Google account.
2. Open your Google Calendar application.
3. In the left-side menu, there is a fill-in labeled "Add a friend's calendar"; Type:
[email protected] .
4. Hit enter. The Marshall Band Program Calendar items will be merged into your calendar. Once this is
done, the calendar will be accessible in your Google account on all your devices.
How to Get the Marshall Band Calendar Items on Your iPhone Calendar
If you are already familiar with the process, the (iCal) link you need is:
calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/[email protected]/public/basic.ics
Simply clicking on the above link should cause iOS to prompt you to Add the Calendar. If it doesn't, the
full process is detailed below. Those familiar with other platforms/Apps, i.e. Android or Windows, can
use the link wherever the iCal format is supported.
Full Process for iPhone Calendar
1. Go to Calendar in Settings
2. Go to Accounts
3. Go to Add Account
4. Go to Other
5. Go to Add Subscribed Calendar
6. Paste the following URL into Server:
calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/[email protected]/public/basic.ics
7. Leave the default settings as they are with no Username or Password (they are not required to have
read-only access)
8. Tap on Save
9. You are done; you can exit out of Settings
