Besides the incredibly successful Tag Day (which is the most important fundraising tool we have), the BPO also has smaller fundraising events throughout the year that support the band program.
These include: Restaurant Give Backs, Concert Sponsorships, Candy and Flower Grams, and the grand finale of the year - The Spring Pledge Drive!

Military Tribute T-Shirt to Sponsor Marching Statesmen Hawaii Trip
Please jump on board this FLASH-FUNDRAISER to support the Marching Statesmen and Honor our Troops—at the same time!
Did you know that your award-winning GCM Marching Statesmen have been invited to march in the Pearl Harbor Day Memorial Parade in Waikiki on December 7th? Fifty-four Marshall Marching Statesmen will be flying out to Hawaii to participate in the parade and to perform at the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor.
For a $20 donation, YOU can add the name of a veteran or active duty service member to the back of our tribute shirts (see attached design by our very own band parent—Cooky Bysura), which will be worn by the Marching Statesmen during the concert performance at the USS Missouri!

GCM BAND TAG DAY FUNDRAISER
Tag Day is SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM!
On Saturday, September 6, over 100 students in the GCM Band Program will split into teams and knock on the doors of local residences in Marshall High School neighborhoods to promote our fabulous band program and request donations as a show of support.
This community fundraising effort is a key tradition in the FCPS band program, usually contributing over 50% of the funds for the Marshall Band. If you see band members in your neighborhood on Saturday, please greet them and consider making a donation to support the Marshall Band! Donations in cash oR check are welcome on the spot, or you can contribute digitally via the Venmo or PayPal links below:
