ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TOUR

On Friday, August 28, a group of marching band students took their talents on the road to visit several of our elementary feeder schools (Freedom Hill ES, Lemon Road ES, Shrevewood ES, Stenwood ES, Westbriar ES, and Westgate ES).

They got the opportunity to share in their love of music by performing several music pieces and giving them a glimpse of what awaits them in their musical journeys. We are proud of our students for representing Marshall Band and our school community so well. We look forward to seeing some of those young faces joining our band family in a few short years!

GRAND CHAMPIONS AT TALLWOOD INVITATIONAL COMPETITION

Wooooohoooooo!!!!!
Wow! What a triumphant way to end the season!!!

In our final competition at Tallwood HS in Virginia Beach tonight, the Marching Statesmen won:

first in division
best overall colorguard
best visuals and
GRAND CHAMPION of the competition—meaning we scored the highest rating across ALL divisions out of all 18 bands competing today!

Congratulations Marching Statesmen! We are so proud of you!

2025 All-District Band for District XII Results!
Please join us in extending a well-earned CONGRATULATIONS to the following Marshall Band students who, as a result of their audition this past Saturday, have been selected to participate in 2025 All-District Band for District XII.

We are excited to report that, among all participating high schools within District XII, Marshall High School had the third-highest number of participants selected for participation in All-District Band this year! Way to go, Marshall Band musicians!

And kudos to all who took part in the audition process. We admire your talent and hard work, and we appreciate the way in which you represent our amazing Marshall Band program--with pride and dedication.
